UPSC Prelims notice

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Civil Services (preliminary) examination result on September 16, 2016. The candidates can check the result on the official website -
UPSC had conducted the Civil Services (preliminary) examination on August, 7, 2016. The examination was conducted in two phases. The first phase started from 9.30 am and continued till 11.30 am while the second phase commenced on 2.30 pm and continued till 4.30 pm.
"The candidates who have been declared successful have to first get themselves registered on the relevant page of the website before filling up the online detailed examination form," the UPSC said. The e-admit card, along with the time table of the main examination, will be uploaded on the Commission's website to the eligible candidates around two weeks before the commencement of the examination.
Important Note:
Candidates may obtain any information or clarification regarding their result on all working days between 10 AM and 5 PM, in person or calling on telephone numbers 011-23385271, 011-23098543 or 011-23381125 from the facilitation counter.
All those candidates who have cleared the civil services prelims exam will have to fill a detailed application form (DAF) so as to apply for further rounds of the recruitment drive.
The forms will be available on the website from October 7 to October 20, 2016 (till 6 pm). The main exam is scheduled to be held on December 3.
The UPSC will release the marks, cut-offs and answer keys only after the final result has been declared on the official website.
